Madie Addis

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Madie’s first grand life adventure was moving to Colorado. There, she attended Colorado School of Mines where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Also in the state of the Rockies, Madie worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as a research intern on a riverine plastic pollution characterisation and quantification project. Now, she’s made the leap across the big pond to continue researching in the field of plastics. Outside of the SMI Hub, Madie is an avid a cappella singer, and she couldn’t be more ecstatic to pursue her passions of sustainability and collegiate a cappella here in Manchester.
